英文句型四： It be ... that 正是...

很好用的句型，千萬別錯過。

It be ... that  正是... (這句型將要強調的部分置於 be 之後)

瑪莉昨天去了居里家。

Mary went to  Gary's home yesterday.

上面的句子可按側重點不同，改成以下三句，當中的that 可分別換成 who, where...等。

It was Mary that/who went to Gary's home yesterday.

It was Gary's home that/where Mary went to yesterday.

It was yesterday that/when Mary went to Gary's home.
