一些書本、網站、博客談英文寫作，說要怎樣寫主題句，有那些短語、單詞不能亂用，甚麼簡單詞就足夠表達，應避免深詞等，其中 from my point of view 也曾被筆伐。這類言論其實意義不大。
寫作的重點是內容，只要行文流暢，表達有條不紊，已經很好了，何須顧忌太多。英文寫作與中文寫作基本無異。
